Mom hack for sick crotch goblins

It’s only fitting since the past 2 weeks we’ve dealt with nothing but sickness in this household. From a cough, to a runny nose.

I am tired!

Once we finally got prescribed medication….after the first day he was so over it. I finally called my mom and asked her what I could do?! We were wasting it! He would gurgle it up. He would spit it out. My husband was holding him down while I tried putting it in his mouth. I want to preface we have never had this issue taking medicine.

So…my mom told me “hold his nose” and I was like “really, that is it?”

I didn’t believe her until I did it!

Step 1: grab the medicine

Step 2: hold toddler down

Step 3: as your giving the medicine, grab their nose and hold it

Step 4: toddler should swallow medicine instantly

Step 5: now try to get some sleep!

They have no option but to swallow when you plug their nose for that quick second. I want to also add no babies were harmed! What works for me, might not work for you.
