Outdoor mom hack 🫶

We’re definitely in our mud pie era this year! My son is 17 months and loves to be outside. We spend most of it out here when I’m home. An upside to where we live, it’s on a lake so we also have the beach area to play!

I’ve always been crafty and I guess you can say a hoarder! 🙄

I save coffee cans for my grease, but started saving them more when I realized we can use them as sand buckets for outside.

You don’t always have to buy things to encourage play. You can make do, even with a couple items around your house. Save the coffee canisters, and even flower pots! As soon as we come outside my son goes straight for his little pile and picks what he wants and then he starts digging. I definitely let him get dirty every day. He’s a kid! That’s what they make hoses, bath tubs and a washer machines for!
