my review of the Buffet @ Colony (ritz carlton)

i recently celebrated my birthday at Colony at ritz carlton so heres my 2 cents on their food.

bestest food to try:

🏄🏻‍♀️salmon sashimi so fresh it was swimming!! so so good. i had so many of them. the classic the best. (tuna sashimi on the other hand was lowkey mid but still decent) (scallop was not bad but cld do with less pepper)

🍚ppl alw say go buffet dont eat carbs but thIs truffle mushroom risotto was sO GOOD like wah must try

🦐 prawn also v fresh. must try! the prawn also just swim just catch super awesome

🎂 desserts were….. AWESOME. 💋the mango pudding thing. fire. the macaroons. aLSO v lovely i had like 5.

🌱this is so random but they had this steamed asparagus that was so good too

🫖pro tip is to ask the waiter for earl grey tea! so good too.

🎣 the coooked salmon was also not bad. very delicious.

🦀 the crab was not bad very fresh but i think they dipped it in too much salt water or lemon iDONT KNOW but it had this bizarre aftertaste. was still nOT BAD tho i had like 3 legs muahaha

🍰it was my bday so my parents arranged for a bday cake which was SO CUTE N SO ADORBS n the waiter even sang me a bday song gahhhh.

service: THE wAITER WAS this old uncle who was so cute gah. he took so many photos for us n was alw clearing our plates at lightning speed. they lowkey messed up our payment at the end but its ok alls g.

everything else available was good but like not mindblowing HAHAHAH

🤔 dont get the clams idk what happened to the clams mayb they were having a bad day idk but it was not nice booo

overall rating: 4.5/5 (literally just go for the sashimi n prawns) — wld totally go back for a special occasion
