FREE cupholder: its their 2nd year anniversary at PLQ and they’re giving out free cupholder!
Cha tra mue is popular for its Thai iced tea, originally from Thailand. It has been around for awhile, there are a couple of outlets in Singapore (Raffles Place & PLQ). But if you would like to have Thai meals, sipping your Thai tea outdoors, you should visit PLQ outlet.
PLQ outlet opening hours is not only catered for business hours, whereas the Raffles Place outlet is.
🥤DRINKS
Served in a tall plastic cup with generous amount of ice! My go-to order is Thai iced tea and 50% sugar, it is sweet enough imo. They also have a new drink menu, which is Hojicha milk tea, it is my second go-to order! The tea flavour is so dense and much better if you go for 50% sugar.
🍦DESSERT
They used to have green tea soft serve, however it is not available recently. I end up getting the Thai tea soft serve, texture is thick, the tea flavour is prominent and quite filling for yourself!
🛍OTHER GOODS
They do sell tea bags, tea leaves and ready to make Thai tea as well! its good for souvenirs or even stock up at home so you can make it yourselves!
🏷PRICE
In terms of price, they are decently priced and you do get a generous amount of the goods.
💭OVERALL
If you don’t live in the east, just come over in the weekend and you could at least get the drinks & soft serve! 10/10 recommend, especially if you missed authentic Thai tea flavour from your Bangkok trip!
