5D4N staycay at JB??

Recently we drove into JB for a 5D4N “staycay”.

A lot of our friends and family laughed bc for 5D4N we could take a trip to Korea or Japan already!

Why we did it:

🌷It was a last minute trip so it’s super easy, just pack our bags and drive in. No need to prebook flights or anything.

🌷We needed to work on some days, so not a complete vacay

🌷Space is tight cos we are currently in between homes and living with my MIL

Searching for a decent airbnb to stay in JB was no easy feat though. A lot of them are badly maintained, especiallyy the bathrooms. Doesn’t help that I’m very picky about accoms too!

After scrutinising 100000 listings, I chanced upon this one that looked kinda decent. It isn’t perfect, but it looks cosy and clean enough. It was comforting that the host seemed to take pride in her home, and she still lives there when she isn’t travelling so maintenance is good.

It has a simple Muji-farmhouse vibe, with cherry wood vinyl flooring and furniture to match. It was perfect for us cos we rlly missed having our private space 🥹

To our surprise, there was actually plenty to do and eat for five days! We were q occupied and ate SO MUCH good food.
