The worst 5 ⭐️ hotel in KL. Where?⤵️

Hello Zesties, 🍋 Please hear me out ( my rants). We experienced the worst 5 star hotel in KL and won’t recommend to stay here.

We stayed at PAVILION HOTEL KL by Banyan Tree Hotel Group.

Regrets, should have stayed at Traders Hotel instead which we will do so in the future!

So WHAT HAPPEN?

we reached our hotel about 1:30pm, upon booking we requested for early check in *subject to hotel’s discretion* unfortunately check in remains at 3pm instead ( the usual check in time). We book City Oasis with King Size Bed but hubs was informed that it was twin single bed during check in. He showed the staff the booking details so the receptionist says she will check and told us to wait.

Lots of miscommunication within staffs at the check in counter and even through the receptionist when we called multiple times to feedback on the damp towels and choke sink which we found in our room…

Long story short, there wasn’t any service recovery done, lots of time wasted. We were asked to move to the next room beside us and wait for the bellboy to come up to assist us with our luggages.

We moved to the next room and to our dismay we were given 2 single size bed, hubs called the receptionist again and they sent their housekeeper to convert the 2 single size bed into a king size bed. ( according to the receptionist, the hotel single size bed is from Germany so when you combine 2 of it you’ll get a King size) you can see 👆🏻 the photos above.

👎🏼Staff services are very sloppy and complacent.

👎🏼 Hotel is considered fairly new, 5 years in the market but not well maintained. The room that we were given, the toilet sink was choked too!

👎🏼 Breakfast food so so only

The first day in KL our time was not well spent, was hoping to visit Aquaria KLCC but eventually that plan was cancelled because lots of time wasted at the hotel and my daughter needs her nap. Eventually while she takes her nap, I go shopping around Pavilion Mall. Will share more on the food we had and my buys in another post!

👎🏼 traffic quite congested. Heavy traffic around our area (Bukit Bintang). 5 mins ride to KLCC can take up to 15 - 20 mins, that’s how bad the traffic was.

👎🏼 💰 Price: $$$ ( $210/ night) including breakfast

In conclusion, it’s really convenient because pavilion mall is just downstairs. However, in terms of hotel service I feel that it could have been better. Will not stay here ever again.
