#RealTalk Never have I thought of going back to the Hospital again. 😓

Hello Zesties, 🍋, I can’t believe I have to do a endoscopy and CT scan of my abdominal. So what happens was, I had this sharp acute pain on the left side of my abdominal area since February and had frequent constipation, my poop was super duper dark brown and at times when I poop, there’s blood. I thought the pain would go away after a few days.

About a week, the pain was still there and it gets unbearable at times. So I visited the polyclinic, the Dr gave me some medication for gastric and pain relief, he gave me a referral letter to go for a colonoscopy check at SKGH. The appointment for Public hospital is too long, was scheduled for the scope in September which is like 7 months later. At first I could manage the pain tolerance, but subsequently even after taking pain killers the pain is still there. ☹️

I decided to check with my company insurance provider to see if I’m covered for private hospital and consultation.

The only regret I have was I downgraded my own personal insurance after having my gall bladder removed 3 years ago due to an infection I had a key hole surgery to remove it. Because my insurance premium went up and at that time I had some financial struggles due to commitment and ⤵️

Why I left my previous job so the only way to manage my finances and still get covered is to downgrade my policy that covers me for public hospital instead of both public hospital and private hospital. 😔

Thankfully, Syukur Alhamdulilah for my new job, my company group insurance for employees, instead of waiting 7 months later, I did my scope a month later which is last Tuesday. At least, I get my health checked ✔️.

🙌🏼 Thankfully, nothing serious, Dr removed some polyps found in my colon, there’s inflammation of my colon and stomach lining due to gastric reflux. I felt so relieved upon hearing the good news. Alhamdulilah 🤲🏻. In conclusion, always good to go for frequent health screening/ check ups and scopes if possible.

Anyone has good recommendation of probiotics supplement? Please let me know! 🫶🏻✨🤍
