Depending on how much you wish to spend, ensuring you have an estimated budget will help avoid going overboard on the price! Because I believe that a luxury bag is an investment not just because of the resale value but because of the sentimental value!

Next up, colour suggestions! You must ask yourself whether you want a plain or monogram colour bag! There’s so many choices of colours when it comes to buying luxury bags! From plain, to monogram to prints! This is essential because you wanna make sure you buy a bag that suits and matches your personal style! Something that you love and will personally wear!

#3 Where to buy

Moving on, where to buy your first luxury bag! After doing your research, you must now know the availability of the bag whether it’s available online or in store, or you need a personal shopper service to help you order from overseas! If it’s available in store and you live around that area then definitely get the one from the store for the experience! But let’s say, for someone like me who lives in KK, I would recommend buying online from their official website! But, let’s say both are not available, then your last option would be a personal shopper! You can pre order the bag from them! Or! If you don’t mind buying preloved, you can also get your luxury bag for way cheaper from preloved accounts! In fact, my first luxury bag is actually preloved and I only paid half of the price! But of course you need to make sure the condition is as stated and ask for more pics before buying!

#4 Your lifestyle & dress code

Last but not least, your lifestyle and dress code play an important role in buying your first luxury bag! Before buying, ask yourself what occasion and purpose do you want your bag to serve? To get answers to these questions, think about your daily activities and what you mainly engage in! Other than that, take a look at your dress code and what your style is! Are you looking for a bag that is suitable for casual wear, formal wear or a bag that you can wear daily which is durable and easy to carry! You need to ensure that the bag you buy goes with the majority of what you usually wear!
