The Hype: Bulan Bintang Raya Collection

Have you heard of Bulan Bintang brand? Well I heard of it, but the last time I heard of it, it is just a small Baju Melayu brand. But last week, I attended the most prestigious event of my life, which is Bulan Bintang Takeover The Sky.

Throughout the whole event, they kept giving me goosebumps. With the lighting on the KL Tower itself, drone show and firecrackers. Everything was so beautiful I felt like attending an international event. But the truth is it was just held by a local brand which makes me proud of our local people 🥹.

So back to the topic, the hype Bulan Bintang raya collection. First of all, they are launching 72 colours with 68 designs. This makes it easier to look for the colours you desire. Especially every year families will have a colour theme to match, so this makes things easier.

Good news for you Johorean people, they are launching a Teluk Belanga design, which earlier they only have the Cekak Musang. They still also have the Kurta designs.

Surprisingly they also had a plus size design, for men and women. So this a very good news for plus size peoples. I know plus size are really hard to find, especially for baju melayu and baju kurung.

For me my opinion, I’m not really in favour of their design because most of the baju kurung design are kind of out of style to me, or outdated. But I it is still acceptable to me. I got only one design that caught my eyes. But that is my opinion and i think different people have different opinions l.

I think it is mostly suitable by men, because they originally started with baju melayu instead of baju kurung. Even they have some baju kurung release but its not really in my favour.
