Tufting in KL with low budget


When it comes to tufting, you must think of it as an expensive activity to do, especially in KL right. But fret not, this tufting place in Seri Kembangan offers RM99 for tufting of any design you like.

But first let me talk about my outfit. I choose cute outfit to match with the cute design

for my tufting. I am wearing a white blouse collar statement and pair it with plaid skirt. I finish it up with a cute pink beret. Because tufting is a time consuming activity, so I am wearing a comfy flat shoes.

Meanwhile my friend’s outfit is wearing plaid sleeveless dress, ruffled skirt and pair it with bucket hat. We mix and match our outfits with each other to complement the tufting theme.

You must be wondering how did we manage to know how to do tufting at the first place. Well worry not, they will provide proper training to you. Before you even begin tufting they will brief you on how to tufting its only a 15 minute briefing. They will also give you a trial before you do it for your own design.

After the briefing, you will need to do the design of your tufting. For the design, I picked a cute flower shape. And it happened to be the same with my friend 🤣. The reason we chose this design because it is simple and it also looks cute. For the design, they will project a projector on the tufting board and you simply trace your design from there.

After that, they will teach you how to put in the threads on the electric tufting gun. It is fairly easy though. But the tufting gun is quite heavy, so that’s why it’s important to pick a simple design because you will spend most of the time carrying this electric gun 😭🤝🏻.

Then you will pick your favourite colour for your cute design. There is no limit in picking your colours. Once everything is set, you are ready to tufting! Once you finish tufting, you will need to paste your design into the fabric with the special glue. It’s quite a long process honestly, we spent a good 4 hours for the whole tufting session. But it was worth it!

You will need to pre-book your tufting session, you can DM to their Instagram @pinkapple_tuftstudio. They only have two sessions every day which are morning and afternoon. The price is only RM99 per design. You can also share a one big design with your friend and pay the same price of RM99.
