a bookstore CAFE?

i mean i don’t read books more say KOREAN BOOKS, i just came here for the vibes🤘very main character energy, felt like i was a noona reading her intellectual books by the window (glancing out once every few minutes) while drinking a warm cup of tea *with just my side view showing*

OKAY ENOUGH of that cringey delulu lets get talking about this cosy space ✋🏻

we stumbled upon this place through a tiktok recco & decided to go seesee looklook 👀

the place was really cosy, quiet, & 💯 korean vibes with all the traditional korean cushion seating. the space was divided into 2, one for dining & reading, the other for retail. as said they are a korean bookstore so they only have korean books available without subtititles, but they had some picturebooks avail which was easily understandable

the cafe does not sell any mains but only beverages & snacks. the pricepoint here is defo on the higher side, so we just got a tea to share hehe (broke student things 🫠)

i forgot the name of the tea we bought (it was really lengthy & chim korean) but i definitely remember that it cost $9.5! yea the price is pretty insane for just a pot of tea, ngl the color of the tea scared us a lil cos its bright red but on the contrary the taste was subtle with hints of floral nodes. they also gave free yakgwas to pair it with our tea very yums

overall a good place to hang, read & unwind 🍃
