weekend date: FREE KAYAKING SESSION 🛶!

kayak for free while helping to clean SG’s waters!! 💦💦😙 — without having a certification :>

both of us didnt have much experience kayaking/ canoeing but we had so much fun during this entire session!

our instructor, sean, was super chill & funny & friendly! there was no time wasted — he went through the basics of how to paddle & we were off with our buckets 🪣 & thongs 🌊 hehe

there were a total of 12 of us & we were all paired up, and paddled with the open-deck kayaks

we were also told to ONLY pick up man-made products like bottles, shoes etc & was surprised to see a 👙!! (how did it get there)

it was a 2 hours session, which was inclusive of registration, clean up, washing & returning of equipment. afterwards we sorted & weighed the trash together as a group! 🗑️

overall it was super fun & chill 😎 it was nice to be able to help clean the coasts while having fun at the same time!

we went to the sembawang waters but there are also many other places you can kayak (like near mbs)!!
