Pro Tips for Internship Students ✅

Hello hello everyone!!✨

Here are my simple tips yang i practiced during my internship which i wish it is beneficial for you guys too! ❤️ Not gonna lie, i was nervous to start my internship but guess i nailed it at the end since i got a lot of good feedback from my supervisor ✨ still remember that he said to my lecturer during my uni visits “budak ni campaklah mana mana, she can survived” “she even can do stuffs without me having to assist” 🥹

Anyways if you’re curious, im that girl in ✨Aeronautical Engineering✨

So here are my few tips to look professional during internship:

1️⃣Wear according to the office ettique and dress code ✨

-Tak kesah lah you are on site ke, duduk office ke, wear neatly and make sure if theres any safety notes yang you have to be aware, be prepare and wear accordingly

2️⃣Dont be shy to learn and gain new experience ✨

-I talk a lot during my internship, i even request itu ini. Let say if rezeki you intern dekat your dream company, you can ask them to bring you in places yang you teringin nak explore.

-Make sure to be polite okies!💋

3️⃣Mingle around to expand your network✨

-Networking is a must! The more people you kenal, senang lah you nak contact them back if theres any inquiries.

-Expand your knowledge with them🙆🏻‍♀️

4️⃣Assist and contribute to the team✨

-Lets say, they are handing task to you and they never ask when is the dateline. For me to give a good impression on them, i’ll finish my work quickly and hand it over right away👌🏻

-You can also give constructive criticism but be sure to be professional and respectful ✨

5️⃣Understand the office norms and company culture✨

-Oh yang ni penting, if the working environment is strict you should suit yourself but be positive okies!👌🏻

-Dont be afraid to ask, but make sure to ask during the right time‼️

-As simple as no one allowed to eat in the office, then dont do that or else memang kena side eyes hehe👁️👁️ look around your surroundings and pay attention 🙆🏻‍♀️

6️⃣Set clear goals during your internship✨

-Yang ni penting to keep yourself on track macam, ask yourself “at the end of my internship, apa aku dapat?”

💡Extra tips: Dont forget to leave a good impression as you’re not just bawa nama you to that company, but also your uni’s name hehe❤️
