AFFORDABLE 4D3N Trip to Chiang Mai

Today I want to share with you my itinerary and breakdown cost for my Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai trip last week. So here we go 🙌🏻

🇹🇭 Day 1

I departed from Bangkok to Chiang Mai at 6am then arrived Chiang Mai around 7:15-7:30am. Then, I waited for my friends from Kuala Lumpur and they arrived around 8:30 in the morning. So after that, we pick up our rent car at the airport. For this, I dah siap siap book from Malaysia lagi. We rent for 4days. Why rent a car? Sebab places yang kami nak pergi jauh jauh and lagi lagi Chiang Rai. It takes for 2hours untuk sampai. So rent a car just the best decision. Then, their company not too far from airport, so very easy! Oh ya, no deposit needed, but tapi you kena make sure masa pulang nanti full tank hehe.

Then, we take our lunch at Takawa Halal Restaurant. Very recommend! The food was good and the portions so big! Dekat sini I share with my friends sebab portions besar so I can cut my budget here.

After that, we go to Baan Khang Wat Artis Village. There are a lot art that u can try. I think it was fun there. We check-in our Airbnb at Saraphi Chiang Mai around 2pm. We love the airbnb so much! Muji concept just so lovely. By the way, this airbnb not in Chiang Mai Town ya. It takes like 20 minutes macam tu.

At 5pm we go to Angkaew Lake for take a picture. Wait for my next post, I nak share hidden gems in Chiang Mai yang you guys boleh take picture for free! After that, we go to night market and take our dinner ✨

🇹🇭 Day 2

After check out, we go to Judy's House Cafe for take a picture. Then, we take our lunch at Chiang Mai town. For those who want to rent a car there, make sure you know their car park rule. Jangan jadi macam I and my friends yang kena clamp dekat Chiang Mai Town! 🤣 Denda dalam 500baht but we merayu and get 300baht only (RM40).

Next, we continue our journey to Chiang Rai and I think this is the most exciting part! It takes around 2 and half hours to get there. For this place, I akan share juga for next post ok!!

🇹🇭 Day 3

At 7:30 in the morning, we go to Akkha Farm. This farm located nearby with our hotel. So disebabkan I nak dapatkan gambar yang cantik, I jadi first person untuk masuk dalam. Yess, I nak avoid ramai orang dekat dalam 🤣

After we check out at Tramont hotel, we back to Chiang Mai but at hill part. So at Pong Yaeng, you can go to flower farm and play jungle coaster! We had much fun there. We check in our airbnb like around 6pm and take our dinner after that.

🇹🇭 Day 4

Before we go to Chiang Mai town after check out, we stop by at Ai Nara Cafe which is just nearby with our Airbnb. It looks like Japan village. So we take a picture a lot there! Then we go to Chiang Mai town to take our lunch and buy some souvenirs. Around 1:30pm like that, we go to airport and going back to Malaysia.

I think it was such a memorable experience for us and I definitely will come back here again soon 😚✈️

💵Budget Per Person💵

Hotel: RM360

Food: 1000baht- RM65-100

Transport (Car Rent): 2800 baht for 4 days- RM125/pax

Fuel: 900 baht- RM30/pax

✈️Flight:

KUL-Chiang Mai- RM150

Chiang Mai- KUL- RM250

Total: RM925/pax

Actually, you can get more cheaper than this, If you choose airbnb on second day. (Like RM600+-). Because we just want to try 5⭐️ hotel at Chiang Rai, our expenses takes almost RM1000. But I think, consider murah and get a lot of memories there with beautiful scenery 😚🫶🏻
