Chinese New Year outfit based on lucky colors 🧧

Even though Chinese New Year has passed, here i wanna share some outfit inspirations for next CNY based on lucky colors 😆

1. Red

Chinese New Year is identical with red. In Chinese tradition, red is considered as lucky color. Therefore, it is often used during celebration to wish good fortune, prosperity, and happiness ❤️

2. Green

You can also use green since it is the color of wealth and growth. Green also represents pure and clean. Fun fact, many buildings, banks and restaurants are often painted in green 👀💸

3. Neutral

There’s nothing wrong with going neutral. Since Chinese New Year calls for brighter color, you can wear beige or light grey. Psst.. it will still bring you luck ✨

Anyway, it’s better not to wear monochrome (black and white) to respect the culture. Because wearing monochrome is traditionally associated with mourning 😉
