Blue Dior Oblique Jacquard for 50% of SG price?!

I love Dior’s classic blue jacquard print. I find it classy and not dull, unlike your usual plain black wallet. Its elegant design matches a lot of my outfits. This wallet retails for $930 in SG retail store. I got it for only $500 (after a 14% tax refund) in Milan. If you are planning to buy branded goods, I recommend getting them from overseas because you will be saving sooo much from it.

Now, is this wallet worth it? Honestly, for the quality, no. I only had this wallet for 3 months, and there are already some visible flaws I noticed:

1) The leather material inside the wallet is ridiculously soft. If you are not careful and your nails accidentally scratch the leather, it will leave a permanent mark (shown in pic 2).

2) Once again, because of the soft material, the part where the leather touches the zipper when you close the wallet would have these visible dents (shown in pic 3). Unfortunately, there’s nothing you can do about it. Unlike the scratches, the dents will still be there even if you are careful enough not to scratch them.

3) The CD signature on the front of the wallet looks rusty despite being brand new… Once again, nothing you can do about it.

4) I don’t think it’s that obvious with my wallet because I asked the SA to change my wallet a few times, but some of their wallets are not properly aligned. Meaning when the wallet is closed, the flap and the wallet just don’t align in a straight line…

Overall, I would not recommend this wallet unless you are a sucker for Dior’s classic blue jacquard print like me 😅.
