PANTRY ORGANIZATION

Not my pantry. A pantry this small normally takes me 4 hours to tackle. It would have been more if the client didn’t already have these great organizational containers by mDesign. I filled up 1 extra large bag of expired foods and freed up so much space by tossing unnecessary packaging. Towards the end of the project, I labeled everything I needed and included expiration dates on Ziplocs.

Pantries are my favorite to tackle. I do believe it’s because my mom was a hoarder of food and when I used to live with my parents, it irked me so much to find expired food all the time. Throwing away what belongs in the trash is so satisfying to me. It’s also a great way to reset with healthy eating.

If you are hoping to lose some weight this year perhaps cleaning out or organizing your pantry and/or fridge could motivate you to begin and commit to a diet.
