I can’t fit everything I want into one post
Hey girls I would like to talk about my journey with pcos. I went from doctor to doctor trying to figure out why I wasn’t getting a period anymore. I was also dealing with bad bloating, sugar cravings, and inflamed body. Until I found out I had PCO.
After doctors telling me I can’t do nothing but be on birth control to regulate everything I took it upon myself to figure out how to do everything naturally.
Let’s face it doctors will just throw any medication at you and never get to the root cause of the problem.
Pcos can be caused by a lot of different factors
Diet, overweight, hormone imbalance, high cortisol, mineral deficiency, and even just your gut micros being off.
Steps I took
-Blood work
- taking myoinositol (best thing for pcos)
-Lowered my cortisol. But cutting caffeine, high intensity workout out and just going for morning walking and weight lifting.
-taking a look at my protein intake, fiber and healthy fats
Protein in so important to regulating hunger
Fiber so just as important
healthy Fats help regulate your hormones
-weight lifting
- cutting out sugar besides from fruit.
-sticking with Whole Foods
Just remember anyone can have PCOS you don’t have to be overweight to have it.
