Tried out a new bubble tea!

My friend and I were having dinner near Beauty World and we were looking to get our bubble tea fix after dinner. Upon googling the nearby tea options, we found this interesting bubble tea store called No.17 Tea and it had pretty good reviews of 4.6/5!! We were so excited to try (and also there weren’t much options in that area….)

It’s only about a 5min walk from Beauty World MRT and we almost missed it because we realised it’s literally INSIDE the Shell Select (convenience store) at the Shell petrol kiosk. Really hidden sia LOL

Anyway, it was kinda quiet so I’m happy my friend was with me because my introverted ass might have just walked away because the staff were staring at us while we looked at the menu (yes, i’m indecisive too)

There’s quite a lot of drink options surprisingly! I tried the premium uji matcha latte with mochi pearls while my friend had the golden oolong milk tea (signature). I really liked my friend’s golden oolong milk tea. Unfortunately I didn’t like my matcha latte because it was very light and not “gao” enough for my liking. The mochi pearls were also quite mediocre, tasted like jelly and they’re not even round :/ Would come again if i’m in the area but probably wouldn’t make the special trip here 🫶
