I’m done with waiting for people to change

i've spent so much time waiting in relationships waiting for the other person to change. waiting for my ex to finally see the impact of his porn addiction and work towards quitting, waiting for him to take me out on nice dates. waiting for situationships to want a relationship with me, waiting for them to see my value.

but nothing good ever comes out of waiting for someone to be different.
