I’m done with gossiping 🙅🏼‍♀️ here’s why

we create reality with language. everything, at one point or another, was spoken into existence. and often, we don’t realize the significance of our words, and use them to create a negative reality.

i’ve noticed for myself that a big way i’ve done this is through gossiping and talking shit. this was my way of dealing with things that I didn’t know how to deal with, like telling someone that something’s not working. instead of addressing my concerns, i would gossip about them with other people, and therefore create a more inflated reality about it.

then the people i’m gossiping to get trained to validate all of it, and now i’ve got this whole negative world in my life about this thing. even the genuinely upsetting and negative things that have happened in my life don’t need to be dragged into my present reality everyday by gossiping about it.

and don’t get me wrong you should absolutely vent and process, you don’t need to be toxicly positive, but you also don’t need to be toxicly negative. that’s all 🙂
