common mixed signals from your ex & what they mean

i get a lot of questions about mixed signals and what they mean. while i don't know what your ex is thinking, here is what i do about these common mixed signals:

👁️‍🗨️ they still watch your stories 👁️‍🗨️ they’re seeing what you’re up to, maybe seeing how you’re doing, this could mean they miss you, it could mean they’re just curious or it’s a habit,but it doesn’t necessarily mean they want to get back together

📱they text you to check in 📱 it’s easy to take this to mean that they’re missing you and thinking of you, and while that may be true, it’s not necessarily true that they’re reaching out to get back together

🛌🏼 you hookup 🛌🏼 while this is definitely an intimate experience, it doesn’t mean that you’re on the path to getting back together. this can really really mess with your healing

the only sign that means your ex wants to get back together is if they say, "i want to get back together"

if they reach out for contact, intimacy or friendship, always have a clear conversation about intentions and boundaries before making assumptions.
