Forest Theme Restaurant & Bar at Ipoh

An Ipoh fine dine that I have always liked, the environment is romantic, comfortable and luxurious, with a great atmosphere. It is very suitable for bringing the other half to the restaurant, coming here to celebrate birthdays or celebrate festivals. Although it doesn't open until 5pm, it is different from other western restaurants in that, in addition to pizza, pasta and steak, it also offers oriental dishes such as eel rice and Iberian pork. The staff is also very warm and polite to recommend food/drinks for you, but it doesn't make you feel pressured. In addition, the restaurant offers rare and limited ingredients such as lobster from time to time. Even if you have been there many times, you can still find freshness in the menu. I suggest that you book a seat in advance, because it’s always full house, and the seats are limited, there are downstairs and upstairs respectively.

【Unagi Bento】

This is the best eel restaurant I have eaten so far. A large piece of eel and eggs are spread on top of the rice, and then paired with the chef's secret sauce. It is very delicious. It is a must-order here.

【New Zealand Baby Lamb Rack】

The perfectly grilled lamb racks were impressively lean while remaining incredibly tender. Opeam's lamb rack, served with a refreshing mint sauce, pumpkin puree, and deep fried crispy enoki mushrooms, is one of, if not the, best I've had in Ipoh.

【Scallop & Prawn Pizza】

The delicious seafood pizza, which was topped with fresh crunchy prawns and succulent scallops on a crispy thin biscuit-like base and covered with tangy tomato sauce and cheese, was ideal for sharing.

【Bomb Alaska】

This restaurant has a very special flame dessert. The waiter will light the alcohol first, and then pour the alcohol on the dessert. You can eat it when the flame is extinguished. The dessert is wrapped in Italian ice cream. It has several flavours, which I choose It is matcha flavoured. Ice cream with alcohol will smell a little bit of alcohol. Babies who don't like alcohol should consider it.

【Dark cherry tiramisu】

Although I was very full, I didn’t regret ordering this. There are finger cakes and cherries in the middle. The taste is sour and sweet, and the cheese is balanced, otherwise it will be too greasy, very good!

Personally, I think the price is acceptable, not too expensive, and belongs to the upper-middle price. A restaurant with satisfactory service, meals and atmosphere, I recommend it to everyone.
