planning my first grad party! i need ideas

for context, i am a senior in college and have never thrown a party for myself! its going to be at an apartment and minimal space, but everyone is so excited!! its going to be luau themed and i wanted ideas for backdrops, affordable ideas, and things to make it fun! so far ive only ordered small decorations!! please help!
