an open letter to 2023:

dear 2023,

thank you for being the most notable year of my life.

between getting married, growing mentally, physically, and spiritually, and checking some amazing life experiences off my bucket list, you have been a year for the books.

at the start of 2023, I made a goal to make this a year full of transformation. I wasn't happy with myself and I struggled with my identity. who did I want to become? what were my career goals? what made my heart sing?

then, step by step, 2023 showed me that:

- your purpose will rise to the surface the deeper you heal.

- that career goals and aspirations were small potatoes if your soul was aching.

- that you will meet some of the most profound, impactful people in your adulthood.

- and that you need to put yourself out there and step out of your comfort zone to discover your passions.

will I still be healing in 2024? absolutely, but thank you, 2023, for teaching me that I was deserving of love, light, and growth.

to the incredible person reading this:

there are 31 days left of the year, and I invite you to reflect on how 2023 changed you in all the BEST ways. take those positive experiences with you into 2024, and know that any challenges you may have faced in 2023 existed to make you stronger.

above all? as you enter 2024, know that you are worthy, capable, and so loved.
