Cancelling avant garde clothes from my wardrobe!

First post & kissing this phase of dressing goodbye 🥹

My life partner got me into wearing avant garde brands quite early into our relationship (6-7 years ago) because to him it was more like a “lifestyle” 😂 not mocking that at all but I’ve also known and admired the conceptual, monochromatic and sculptural looks from each designer but I just can’t get myself to wear it in SG’s weather….till he slowly started gifting me it. I had to get more avant garde pieces to pair them with just so I can wear that “look” out.

One thing great was the quality fabric you get for every penny paid 💸 and how I felt good and confident in all black. Can never go wrong!

I’m glad we’ve both grown out of all the quirky hobbies we had when we were still young, wild and free 😅 now I like what I like and wear what I like. And for him, it’s all watches & things that brings value to life (I am not complaining). Of course comfort still reigns over everything for us (I have sensitive skin and used to have eczema episodes) so I think it’s okay to pay more for quality pieces if you know you’ll get more wears out of it.

Tucking all these clothes deep into my wardrobe till future travels or if anyone wants to buy them off me…drop me a comment~
