Baby Shower Inspo

I had my dream baby shower back in September! I wanted to host/plan my own so everything would be how I wanted it and because I honestly just enjoy planning and hosting parties!

I loved the teddy bear theme so I started off the hunt for a giant bear as my main focal point. I was lucky enough to find one off our local Facebook marketplace.

Once I had the bear, I started working on the invitations, decor, menu, and games.

My husband helped me with building the small picnic tables as well as the arched backdrops. I found king bed comforters that I pinned together for picnic blankets and seat cushions for comfy seating.

For food, we made a pasta bar with a few different sauces, toppings, and pasta. I also made individual charcuterie cups with the most adorable “BABY” cheese blocks. One of my favorites was the boba bar we did. You know coming from the 626 I had to have boba! I made milk tea and passion fruit green tea with brown sugar boba and coffee jelly as toppings on the side.

I did a ton of research on games to play that would be fun for everyone without it being the usual “which chocolate’s in the diaper” games.

We had a Baby Olympics with these games

- Stroller race

- Bottle workout

- Junk in the trunk

- Pass the pacifier

- Fishing for cups

- Bottle race

Planning a baby shower is a lot of work but it is so much fun to see everything come together and everyone enjoying themselves!
