Fall Recipes, Pumpkin and chicken soup. Pass/try?

With the way this economy is set up, we can’t afford to waste anything. I bought a roasted chicken a few days ago, and we didn’t finish it. I was like,this could make some nice soup today. Everything cost less than $20, and I didn’t have to buy everything today because I already had some ingredients at home, like potatoes, carrots, green seasoning, and dry seasonings.

Ingredients:

• Potatoes (optional)

• Carrots

• Pumpkin soup mix

• Cock soup mix

• Knorr seasoning

• Green seasoning (optional)

• Pumpkin

• Roasted chicken

• Onions

• Garlic

Directions:

1. Bring water to a boil.

2. Add the two packs of soup mix.

3. Add the pumpkin, and once it’s soft, mash it into the soup.

4. Add the potatoes and carrots (you don’t have to add potatoes, but I did to make the soup more filling).

5. Add all the dry seasonings, green seasoning, garlic, and onions.

6. Cook until the potatoes are soft and the soup has thickened.
