how i manage my content with over 140k followers!

hi zesties 🍋,

some of you may or may not have seen my content on instagram and tiktok ~ i started my small ig acc in nov 2019 right after o levels as i was really inspired by all the studygrammers

i’m currently 21 and managing my own little social media accounts and creating content generally related to my desk, journaling and lifestyle!!

here are some tips and tricks i’d recommend if you’re planning to grow your instagram/tiktok :D

step 1: find your niche

- i think this is really important for content creation cus u may go viral for one or two videos but when your audience clicks into ur acc they might have the intention to look for similar content that they like! eg if you’re planning to share outfit inspirations just stick to it ~ so that u have a specific target audience

step 2: create engaging reels

ngl the instagram algorithm is kinda crazy these days and u have to constantly keep up with it which is kind of tiring but u gotta do what u gotta do… :D sometimes picture posts get stale and reels are a better form of content and it increases ur account engagement too

step 3: captions and hashtags

- don’t over use hashtags and it depends on what you’re sharing but personally i think not everyone will read ur entire caption so keep it short and sweet! + rmb to reply to ur comments often

step 4: use trending audios

- people love trending audios and the videos usually perform way better or gets pushed to the explore page more!

step 5: monitor your insights

- by monitoring ur insights u get to see which kind of videos/content perform better and it helps u to grow your account better ~

step 6: post stories frequently

- stories are a part and parcel of instagram so if u can share little life updates with ur audience frequently, it’ll also help with ur engagement :) of course for stories it doesn’t necessarily have to be ur niche niche but definitely keep it related to your content + style
