how to look expensive wearing simple clothes

It’s difficult to stand out in the crowd today because everyone is already stylish from following fashion influencers and reading tips online! No wonder we all want to look simply expensive. But, if our budget makes it difficult to keep up with the trends, that’s fine! Here are some tips to look fabulous and rich in simple clothing.

1. Wear brands that can be easily recognized.

I have a lot of luxury brands because of my shopping addiction (stay tuned for more posts about this). If you have knockoffs, that’s alright as long as you feel confident! If not, you can just wear accessories that can make your features stand out. For example, a 20-peso pearl headband from Shopee can brighten your hair and face, and a pair of sunglasses can accentuate your nose.

2. Pick an all-black outfit and wear contrasting accessories.

Black always looks stylish. I paired an all-black outfit with my Hailey Bieber inspired chrome nails and my 100-peso necklace from Shopee.

3. Go for a preppy look.

Preppy looks are in style again because of the old fashion trend. But you don’t have to buy expensive clothes for this. As long as you have a plaid mini skirt and a pair of knee-high socks, you can pick any oversized top to dress the part.

4. Lastly, go simple.

I wore my Dior tank top casually to the mall with some comfortable shorts. We don’t have to try hard because stylishness comes naturally! So, pick your best casual outfit and head out to have some fun!
