📚 AND here goes a new semester!! 🤍

Follow me on my day as a ba arts management student at lasalle!!🚶🏻‍♀️

So here’s some questions I always encounter:

🙋🏻‍♀️ “𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁???”

: well in short, it’s business for the arts*! (*not limited to fine arts! it’s applicable for theatre, film, even media ent and more) 🎬

🤔“𝗔𝗛𝗛 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲, 𝘀𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲??”

: I would say ours is the most academic ba course in lasalle!!✍🏻 (instead of having hands-on artistic creation) marketing, accounting, audience engagement, budgeting, arts policy and many more - there’s a huge aspect of event planning and executing throughout our course

😳 “𝗪𝗮𝗵𝗵 𝗵𝗼𝘄’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻? 𝗜𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗻?”

: For me, I really enjoyed it because it’s something that I’m passionate about 🫶🏻 plus I feel v grateful to have met a bunch of fun friends! after all it’s not always easy to find a gang that you feel crazy yet comfortable with 🥹💖

🚶🏻‍♀️Studying in Singapore was an impromptu choice during covid but it really opened up a new chapter of my life - and so here goes our final year!! Excited (ok but scared at the same time for our 10k words dissertation- but we’ll see) 😚✨

ps. lasalle finally cleaned the glasses during sem break and it looks SO nice now
