I made saffron rice for the first time

#storytime #lemon8contest Prior to today I had never had the spice saffron. At least I think it’s a spice. Lol! In any case, I had seen saffron rice on a show and I got it into my head that I had to try it. I have no idea why, except that I love #food and #foodadventure as well as other #culture I consider it part of learning.

It’s a big beautiful world, ya know? Anywhoodle, I surprised even myself and made a yummy rendition of this #traditionalfood It turned out rather well, if I do say so myself. I thoroughly enjoy the taste of #saffron and I will be keeping it in my #spicerack #saffronrice #rice
