Using COOL TONE palettes but i’m WARM TONE? 🫢

Some colours may not be our “best” colours but tbh i think just do what makes you feel good/happy! For me, i love my pink and lilacs 🥹🫶🏻 but gurl here is definitely a warm tone (prob autumn but i can pull off some spring shades) Anyhow, these are some cool tone palettes i just couldn’t resist, review from a warm tone perspective + how it looks on me:

1. Romand Dreamy Lilac Garden Palette (7.5/10)

- 2 shimmers, 1 glitter and 7 mattes: mainly summer cool palette but there are warm brown shades!

- Shimmers are more subtle so if you love the very bling shimmers, you might find this underwhelming 😫

- Love using the shimmers for days when I want something to brighten up my eye look but not-too-glam kind of shiny✨ and they double up as highlighters

- I can’t be too heavy handed if not i’ll look like i got punched LOL but its buildable so that helps…

- Should work well on those who look good with murky/muted colours bcos some colours have slight grey hues

- 10/10 for the palette composition 🥹 all the colours are rly nice

2. Romand Dry Buckwheat Flower (10/10)

- Love it for a subtle smokey eye look!

- Can be a dupe for dasique’s aegyosal maker (which according to some korean youtubers i’ve watched is what taeyeon uses 🫢)

- Great for complementing my other eyeshadow bcos the glitter and eyeliner shades are amazing

- If i could pick on one thing, the glitter doesn’t apply well with brush

- i think this would suit both warm/cool tones very well!

3. Romand Dry Strawberry (5/10)

- the pink had higher chroma than i expected so i don’t really reach for this 🥲

- when i use a brush, theres sooo much more loose powder flying in pan than any other romand eyeshadow

- i use the pink for blush sometimes but i think this palette will be hard for most warm tones to pull off

And lastly, the final eyeshadow looks! All i added was a little undereye concealer (no eyeliner/mascara) and im 23N in korean foundation for reference 💗 i think it’s obvious which is my favourite! Have yall bought anything that you knew wasn’t your “best” colour but you couldn’t help yourself? 🤣🤣
