Hazelnut Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso

Hazelnut and brown sugar syrup make the most delicious combination. I’m currently obsessed with my hazelnut brown sugar syrup so I wanted to share my current favorite drink with it so far.

I’ve been getting back into using whole milk again. But I se your favorite milk of choice though! I think oat milk would work so well with this recipe too!

Recipe

1/2-1 tbsp hazelnut brown sugar syrup (see recipe in my recent post)

2 shots of espresso

3-4 oz of milk of choice, I used whole milk

Ice

1. Pour hazelnut brown sugar syrup into a small espresso glass.

2. Brew 2 shots of espresso on top.

3. In a mason jar or cocktail shaker, add ice and pour in espresso syrup mixture.

4. Cover and shake.

5. Pour into a new glass or keep in mason jar if you prefer it.

6. Add additional ice (optional) and pour in milk of choice.
