Dirty Chai Espresso Martini

I think we can all agree that chai is having a moment this fall. If you love espresso martinis then you have to try this dirty chai espresso martini. Perfect pick me up and fun drink for your next party or weekend!

All you will need is freshly brewed espresso, vodka, coffee liquor, chai syrup, and optional garnishes coffee beans and star anise. You should be able to find these ingredients pretty easily except maybe the chai syrup. Many major syrup companies like mining, Torani, and 1883 sell a chai syrup. As always my best tips for a foamy top on your espresso martini is use freshly brewed espresso and shake your martini really well then immediately strain through a fine mesh strainer into your glass!

Ingredients

1.5 oz vodka

1 oz fresh brewed espresso

0.5 oz coffee liquor

0.5 oz chai syrup

~1 cup of ice

Garnished with star anise and 3 espresso beans

Directions

1. Combine in a cocktail shaker: 1.5 oz vodka, 1 oz freshly brewed espresso, 0.5 oz coffee liquor, 0.5 oz chai syrup, and about 1 cup of ice.

2. Cover cocktail shaker and shake really well until cocktail shaker begins to frost on the outside.

3. Immediately strain through a fine mesh strainer into your martini glass.

4. Garnish with 3 espresso beans and star anise if desired.
