Cancer Caregiver Diaries - Part 1

Recently, my sister & I learned that my mom has cancer. It’s been about 3 weeks since the initial diagnosis, however, we are still awaiting more tests to confirm the origin of this disease.

As cliché as it may sounds, our world turned upside down. Friends & family have been as supportive as they can be during this process. But I decided that I wanted to share my experience of becoming a cancer caregiver.

So far, there’s been many ups and downs. But on the positive side, we are learning a lot about how to manage her pain. Plus, we are seeking a second opinion in the days ahead.

Although we are awaiting for more answers, I hope to share more thoughts in the future that may be helpful to anyone who unexpectedly becomes a cancer caregiver for a loved one 🩵
