Hye is me again!! Today I going to bring you explore another recipes (read: my FAV 😋 recipes) which is SPICY 🌶 Mapo Tofu!!
Mapo Tofu is one of the popular Chinese dish from Sichuan province. Made with minced meat like beef but today I used chicken minced. It goes really well with rice and it gives you unique taste and flavorful.
Ingredients:
-Silken or soft tofu
-100-200g minced chicken
-1 tsp minced ginger
-1 tbsp garlic
-1-2 tbsp onion
-2 tbsp dried chilies
-1-2 tbsp spicy soy bean paste
-1tsp sugar
-1tsp seasoning
- 2 tbsp corn start slurry
-half cup of water
Steps:
1- Cut soft tofu into cubes.
2- Boil water with 1 tsp salt and add your soft tofu and leave it for 3-6 minutes.
3-In a pan, saute minced chicken with oil, then add garlic, ginger, onion and dried chilies and saute until everything is nicely cooked.
4-Add 1-2 tbsp spicy soy bean paste, saute.
5-Add half cup of water, then add sugar and your fav seasoning. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes
6-Then add corn starch slurry and simmer for another 5 minutes.
7- Serve with spring onion.
