3 things you need to avoid doing as a UGC creator:

1. Taking every gifted offer: if you want UGC to be your full time gig, treat it as such. You can’t live off of free product in exchange for content. Don’t be scared to negotiate a free UGC offer into a paid one.

2. Sending content without a contract: make sure to have some form of contract or invoice agreement in place when working with brands for paid collaborations. The last thing you want or need is to have a brand receive your content and ghost you without paying you.

3. Spending more time creating then pitching: pitching should be your top priority!! If you want a high quantity of chances to get UGC deals, you have to reach out to a high quantity of brands. Make a portfolio & get to pitching. Your content can be great, but you need brands to see it in order to hire you.
