Rating My Makeup All Over The Years! 💄

Hey friends! I’m sure by now you already know how much I love doing my makeup. It’s just therapeutic for me and I consider it as a way of self-expression! 💗 It is also when I feel most beautiful and confident. With that, let us take a look at the makeup looks I did all over the years — from 2014 to Present! 📆

Aside from taking a peek into my creations, I will also share my rating of them! Let me know what’s your favorite among these looks, I would love to know. ☺️

🌸 2014: This has to be my worst era. 😭 I got highly influenced by 2NE1 CL’s iconic eyeliner look but sadly, I didn’t realize back then how it didn’t suit my eye shape, and how I just applied it awfully in general. ❌ I would rate this a 2/10! 🤭

🌸 2015: I like the lip color and the nose contour, but aside from these two, it just didn’t work out! 🥲 Rating this a 4/10.

🌸 2016: Next up! I improved a lot here. The only part that I didn’t like was me applying no blush. But overall, I think it looks great! 😍 A 7/10 for me.

🌸 2017: Love this look so much! It looks so cohesive and I’m loving the Korean-inspired look. I could definitely wear this look again, so a 9/10! ☺️

🌸 2018: What a downfall! 😆 I only like the fact that my blush is finally showing even a tiny bit, my lippie shade, and my brows. The rest, it looked dull! 👎🏻 A 5/10

🌸 2019: YAS! Another K-inspired look. The shimmery eyeshadow is finally entering the scene! 🎬 I’m sure you will all agree that this is a 9/10.

🌸 2020 & 2021: Moving onto the years I greatly improved… Here, I learned how to play with colors and stay away from the usual neutrals, that’s why I love these eras so much! 🫶🏻 I’m giving 2020 a 9/10 and 2021 a 100/10. 🥰

🌸 2022: Fast forward to now, I’m still improving but I love that I’m slowly leaning towards natural and wearable looks yet rooted in K-inspired looks that I really love! Surely, a 10/10. ✨
