Affordable VS High-end Product ep 2: Mascara 👁️

Hey, friends! Welcome back to the second episode of our Affordable VS High-end Products Series! 🥳 And our category for today is… mascara! 👀 It is another favorite part of mine in doing my makeup — well at this point everything is considered as a favorite of mine! 😂 Kidding aside, I just love how mascara changes your eye look in an instant. It opens your eyes wide as if you were able to get a good 8 hours of sleep. 🛌

Moreover, if you are someone like me who has trouble putting on false eyelashes, a good mascara is the key! 🔑 So today, we will figure out if we should really invest on a good brand of mascara or there is a good alternative that is affordable on the market! 🛍 Here’s the two mascara brands that we will be comparing: Careline Lash Boost Mascara & Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara. 🤸🏻‍♀️

🌙 Careline Lash Boost Mascara (₱195)

— it has an hourglass wand: it’s actually my first time trying a mascara with this type of wand. And to be honest, I'm not a huge fan of it. I find it hard to work with my short lashes. 😅 But yes, it gives an instant lift and volume, but not really in length. 🙅🏻‍♀️ Good thing is that it’s buildable and it doesn’t clump. It’s just challenging to work with but it does its job even if it’s only 195 pesos. 👍🏻

🌙 Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara (₱1,017)

— I definitely agree with all its claims. This is one of the best mascaras I’ve tried and I want to commend Clio for that! 🖤 I just don’t think everyone would spend more than a thousand pesos just for mascara. 💸 But overall, it’s a good buy! The thin wand makes it easier to use, and as visible in the photos, it will give you this defined and beautiful sky high lashes. 🌌 I’m totally obsessed! 💯
