How to Curl & Fill Asian Lashes! 💓

As most people say, having Asian Lashes is truly a love-hate relationship. They look nice on certain days but sometimes you’ll have a hard time looking for a good mascara that will make them curled up all throughout the day. But worry not! Because I think I just perfected (note the exaggeration) how to apply mascara on my Asian lashes. 🤩 Here’s what I do:

🌷 I use an eyelash curler to curl my lashes upwards. I usually repeat this process 1-3 times until I finally reach my desired curls.

🌷 I also curl my lower lashes. A trick I saw from a YouTube video of a famous Korean Makeup artist. I think by doing so, this will make your lower lashes more obvious, most specifically when you have started applying your mascara.

🌷 Speaking of, the next step would be applying the mascara on your lashes. I prefer using a mascara with a thin wand as it is much easier to use for my sparse and thin lashes.

🌷 Next, I just apply the same mascara on my lower lashes. I usually apply 2-3 coats — sometimes one — depending on my mood and the look I’m going for.

🌷 Lastly, I curl my lashes again using the eyelash curler. Some may not agree on doing this, but I think this helps in keeping the lashes curled all day. Just make sure to be careful and do the zigzag motion in separating your lashes and the curler.
