Take your own headshots & save a coin 💁🏾‍♀️📸

Having a quality headshot can open doors y’all and you don’t have to go out of your way to have it taken professionally. 💁🏾‍♀️

I take my headshots at home and here’s how I do it: 📸

Hair: Something simple and cute (I prefer a straight middle part, however don’t shy away from embracing your truest self aka natural hair, braids etc)

💄Makeup: Something light and natural- I prefer my everyday makeup for the simple fact that I’ll actually be seeing people at conferences etc and I most likely won’t have a full face glam lol.

👚Outfit: Any kind of professional top or blazer

Step 1: Take Photo in good lighting (I prefer sitting close to a window)

Step 2: Upload photo into Canva and Remove Background

Step 3: Choose a natural background in Canva (Studio Background, Blurred Office Building, etc)

Step 4: Download and Edit Photo
