HOW TO FIND STATEMENT PIECES WHEN THRIFTING ❤️‍🔥

Here’s a few tips for your next thrifting spree:

1. Go in with the right mindset— the right mindset, is an open one. Everything in the store may be junk, but you may be the person to find the needle in the haystack.

2. Look through everything! Even in the sections that you don’t think you like (e.g. men’s sections, jewelry), you may find hidden gems, or pieces that can be re-worked.

3. If you think you may like it, throw it in the cart and try it on. Ordinary items on the rack may look extraordinary on you.

4. Go often, and at your earliest convenience. Merchandise swaps daily and a lot of the statement pieces go quickly! Great minds think a like.

5. Don’t buy just because it’s cheap. Overbuying and accumulating unnecessary items doesn’t help. Just because it’s an amazing deal doesn’t mean it belongs in your wardrobe.

6. Go to the stores in nicer neighborhoods. In my experience, the thrift stores with better finds are in more high-end cities or neighborhoods.
