Moms… am I missing anything!?!

I’ve asked about 3 mom friends and these seem to be the common items that they actually needed in their bag.

Some mentioned a little name board thing for pictures which I did end up getting yesterday after I made the list 🫶

they also mentioned pillows and blankets but I don’t want to lug that much stuff and I weirdly like hospital blankets 🤣

Did you find a nursing pillow to be a necessary bring?? And on the adult diaper end… bring my own or save those for recovery bc the hospital has them?

I was also told snacks but I’m being induced + have gestational diabetes would this even be something I could eat or just skip the snacks lol?

UPDATE SINCE BEING IN THE HOSPITAL: I brought my Nintendo switch, and didn’t touch it once. Nor did I journal or read lol! Any free time I had, I slept. I would not stress bringing entertainment

I really liked their underwear +pads it was way easier to change a pad rather than taking off the adult diapers and changing those each time. It was super hard to walk or lift my legs so I wouldn’t worry about packing those either!

they give you a pacifier, the Philips Avent ones and you do not need to bring one

They also give you clear take home bags so bringing your own empty bag is also not necessary! They will pack you a goodie bag as well! Swaddles are not necessary, the hospital baby blanket swaddle works just fine and they sent me home with a pack of actual swaddles!
