New over the counter birth control

I was REALLY scared of this, but here’s why I got it anyway:

According to the side effects, it shouldn’t cause any major emotional issues. This is the MAIN reason I feel comfortable with it. I had gone on the pill prescribed by a doctor a few years ago, and I’m not even kidding my self harm and suicidal thoughts have NEVER been so bad. I quickly got off that because 👀👀 ewuh.

Overall, it has less side effects than other methods. It’s not as effective, but again, I’d much rather be a little more cautious than be dealing with a billion side effects.

I’ve been on it for a week now, and I don’t feel much different! Which is GREAT news! My bf and I still use other forms of safe sex, too, but this is so much more comforting knowing I don’t need to panic about spending $40 on a Plan B. I’m not supposed to have another period for at least a week or two, still, and I’m hoping it won’t change my schedule lol. We’ll see!
