How to speak English fluently?

Hello 🍋 friends,

Based on the tajuk in this post, memang macam biasa je kan. And I know some people will be like alah, benda ni dah banyak kali ulang.

But do you know that there are still people out there who are wondering "eh how come ah his/her English is good? Mine is so rojak" And very not confident in themselves. So boleh kita saling mengingatkan through reminder posts like this one. ☺️

So how did I start learning English?

1. Watch English TV shows with English subs (Malay sub is okay too if you want to emphasize understanding)

2. Listen to English songs and look up for the lyrics if you're not clear on what the song is about.

3. Read aloud (Ini sangat membantu, don't read silent je, read aloud to yourself!)

4. Speak with others in English. Jangan takut grammar terabuh ke apa ke, belasah je. Biar kita salah sekarang dari tak belajar apa pun.

And how do I stay consistent?

1. Now I start making videos in English. So kalau ada salah barulah kita boleh learn from the videos and fix our speaking skill along the way.

2. Think in English (Biasanya kita think in our mother tongue but why not sekali sekala, think in English, next time when we want to say something in English, it'll be smoother because kita tak perlu translate lagi 🥳)
