Books On Women's Experiences 💕

I'm sharing with you today my all time favourite books on women's experiences.

1. How We Disappeared by Jing-Jing Lee

My very first book about comfort women during the Japanese occupation. Such an eye-opening read, could be disturbing at times. But I assure you, it's a very important and emotional read. It's about survival and women empowerment. I'd highly recommend this one.

2. Yasmin How You Know?

A very nice, funny, nostalgic compilation of the late Yasmin Ahmad. It's how the people around her remember her. Through stories and incidents that they can hardly forget. Yasmin Ahmad truly was a legend that will live among us for many years to come.

3. The Woman Who Breathed Two Worlds by Selina Siak Chin Yoke

My all time historical fiction Baba Nyonya novel, featuring a strong main female character. I teared up at almost every page because I can resonate so much with the story. Highly recommend this gem too.

4. Children We Never Had by Nadia Khan

A book revolves around marriage and pregnancy and getting a child. Truly well written.
