Let's Make Art Journal Bookmarks!

Hi there 👋

I love making bookmarks, specifically art journal bookmarks.

So here are a few basic materials that you can have to make one aesthetic bookmark:

1. Stickers

Cute ones, vintage ones, quotes, character stickers, all kinds of stickers.

2. Doily paper

For the vintage feels and it's easy to get! On shopee, baking shops, etc.

3. Brown Kraft paper (Thick ones)

Trying to get 160 gsm and above for good thickness. Or any cardboard is good too but make sure it's easy for you to cut.

4. Other kinds of papers

Ticket stubs, random pages from old books, ticket stubs, even your receipts works too! Just to create that layering effect.

5. Washi tapes

Every art journaller loves washi tapes. Hence why it's one of the things I use frequently in my bookmarks.

6. Gromette eyelet buttons

This is where I go extra. Instead of just punching holes and tying a string at the top of the bookmark, I also use these eyelet buttons to make the hole at the top look more aesthetic and last longer so it's not easily torn apart.
