if you’ve been following me for a while, you might remember my older posts which I shared about the Karappo pen before. this time, it’s in a fine brush nib instead of a regular nib.

as I got a new bottle of shimmer ink recently, I thought I’d test out if it could work on this pen

verdict - it woRks, but super subtle shimmer compared to a q-tip swatch of the same ink, the camera doesn’t do justice to the subtleness. but, the brush nib is amazing! I can easily create different strokes with this brush pen! I bet it’ll look great even on non-shimmer inks for sure!

for $4, this pen custom pen is an affordable option if you don’t like the hassle of taking care of a fountain pen (as shimmer inks clog your fountain pen feed) or using a dip pen.
