Birthday dinner @ Ember Restaurant

Came across Ember Restaurant along CQ area and decided to try it for my birthday dinner!

Upon stepping into the restaurant, I was in awe. The environment feels very relaxing, and is perfect for a date!

TARAMASALATA CRAB TOAST

trust me, 1 piece for yourself is NOT enough!

EMBER'S NAAN - comes with truffle butter and cream cheese

taste just like your typical naan on its own. BUT it so savoury when paired with the truffle butter and cream cheese. They just blends so well.

MAITAKE MUSHROOM

it’s basically mushroom with risotto (with corn bits)

Mushroom is crunchy, yummmms! Together with risotto and the already crunch corn bits creates the 口感! Oh, I even added the leftover truffle butter and WOW! I would say I’m a fan of truffle!

PINEAPPLE FED CHICKEN

This was from the Chinese New Year menu, so I’m not sure why is it still available in April. Chicken was good but guess it’s undercooked a little. Other than that it has this charred woody fragrance. The charred and savoury pineapple makes this dish less jelak.

Overall, I pretty love this place. Price was very reasonable. Would I return again? YES!
